The Bafta’s are about pure glamour, which leaves the Grammys as the perfect opportunity for celebrities to show off their edgy style and really make a claim to the best-dressed lists. So, it’s the perfect place to pick your next look from! Whether you want a complete change or just to pick out some key elements, you can be sure that the Grammys will demonstrate the up and coming trends, and here are the top 7 Grammy looks you can (and should!) steal!

1. Rock – Glam

I love this dress! From the great shape it gives to her body – being tight fitting but flattering too – and it’s strapless too, which is right on trend. It’s the gorgeous fish tail bottom that steals the show, though, mixing beige and black netting… if you want to steal this look, team luxury and shiny fabrics with flattering fits and an exaggerated yet gorgeous feature. Keep your hair and makeup sexy yet minimal, and practice sultry eyes! Gorgeous.

2. Monochrome

Jennifer Hudson made an excellent choice when she chose this edgy monochrome look, which is so on trend and really flatters her figure. The silver middle gives her a slim illusion, while the black skirt lengthens her legs and the white top gives her a curvy and sexy look… teamed with black heels and simple jewellery, she looks divine. Steal the look by teaming monochrome colours with a silver belt, and keeping your hair and make up simple yet elegant. Wow.

3. Demure Chic

It was strange to spot Katy Perry in something I’d love to wear, but this delicate pastel pink number is a huge hit in my book! Teamed with her retro hair style, and silky detailing, Katy looks slim, elegant and happy. I’m off to hunt out some elegant pieces in gentle pastel colours… I can’t wait to channel Katy!

4. Extravagant Mini Dresses

Kim Kardashian looks gorgeous in this short white mini… she really makes the look her own! If you want to rock a mini, pick one with two shades of a colour on it (look closely, and you’ll notice that Kim’s main dress is white, with the detailing being a slightly silver shade). You can then match your shoes to this shade, and keep jewelry to a minimum. Your dress will do the talking, so keep everything else quiet!

5. Classic Black

Taylor Swift chose a classic cut black dress, and wow did she look good. Not only did it give her a very elegant (and enviable!) look, but it’s easy to wear too, and black is very flattering. Dresses like this aren’t hard to find, so search out the one that fits you best, and team it with an elegant up do and some gorgeous jewellery for a maximum impact, minimum effort look.

6. Risqué

Who would have guessed that Tia Carrere is 42? She combines elegant and risqué to perfect effect, and it’s a surprisingly easy look to steal. Make sure any dress has a slim opening, and that it sits properly on your figure. You’ll also want it to be quite supportive! Then leave the push up bra at home to avoid looking like a glamour model, and instead highlight your other features with kohl eyes, simple jewelry and divine shoes. You’ll wow everyone!

7. Sexy

And for your man? Update his look by picking a classic cut tux with textured panels, and find him a matching black shirt and tie. Make sure everything is comfortable, including his shoes, and rock slightly messed up hair. He’ll be bringing sexy back, just like JT!

The vibrant patterns, when you look at them independently are very unique, but because the underlying tones are from the same palette, the overall look is cohesive when meshed together. Almost like a Monet painting, dizzying up close, but very beautiful from afar.

Sports seem to be taking over the world at the moment, so its no wonder that this trend is back! Forget your tracksuit and tennis skirt, though, this isn’t a straight revival of sports clothes. This time its mixed with girly influences to give it a glamorous look… I’ve been searching out the best seven ways to wear it, and here they are!

This dress is perfect for the monochrome look! Team with a black belt, black heels and stylish hair (think a glamorous bun rather than a sporty pony) plus some stacked bangles and a cute necklace. 2. Fred Perry Jessica Tennis Dress

Okay, so this is very similar to another one, but I couldn’t resist including it. It’s got such great structure, and it’s perfect for vintage inspired sports-luxe! The contrasting red and white is a great starting point, so simply add red heels and a red belt, or go casual with nude heels and sunglasses. An effortless way to channel sports, and retro!

3. Red Stripe Over the Knee Socks

I was unsure on sporty over the knee socks until a rather daring friend of mine invested in some, and teamed them with denim shorts, a vest and a ponytail. She got so many compliments, and even a few phone numbers! Remember to team them with heels, and for these ones, high reed heels would look amazing. A plain jersey dress would look super cute, too!

This is a super cute dress, which is perfect for actually playing tennis or just looking great! The pattern on the front is all you need to dress up, so with delicate jewellery and heels, you’ll definitely look the part. I love this skirt, which teams luxe-sports with frills, and looks absolutely gorgeous teamed with a black military jacket and heels for the monochrome look… it’s amazing! Tennis is the huge trend, being the favourite in the collections, but I really like the football sweater too… it’s so hard to choose what to buy! It’s time to update your wardrobe for Spring and Summer, girls!   And this season there are so many hot trends emerging, you’ll have plenty to choose from!

Here are 8 Hottest Fashion Trends for Spring-Summer season according to fashion gurus from Elle, Vogue and InStyle.  And in between those fabulous pictures you’ll find my two cents on how to utilize these styles to turn into most fabulous fashionista on the planet!

1. Bold Belts …

Dressing up your outfit with a bright bold belt is one of the easiest ways to update your look.

If you wearing a black outfit, opt for a thick colorful belt that will instantly add character and style.

Or show your dangerous side wearing a belt with an animal pattern or a belt made of faux exotic skin!

Who said a belt should be made of leather or fabric? Try a more daring version of a belt with a soft dress, the contrast between the two will play up your whole outfit.  See how much more floating the silk in the pictures is?  It’s all about contrast …

2. Big Earrings, Bangles and Necklaces …

Bright jewelry is the best way to dress up any outfit. And this Spring-Summer season bold jewelry is as hot as ever!

Although, there is one rule of wearing it, which I’ve unfortunately learnt only after my fashion “faux-pas”.

Girls, no matter what your BFF say, there is such a thing as “TOO MUCH” when it comes to wearing bold pieces of jewelry. To play it right, wear 2 pieces (either earrings and bangles or bangles and rings or rings and necklace etc.) at a time and you will look positively fabulous!

Don’t you love these tribe-inspired earrings by Louis Vuitton? Now that’s what I call a statement piece!  I am sure there will be many look-alikes for a more reasonable price…

This season bangles are so hot, the more of them you wear at a time – the better!  And I am so in love with Lanvin bold bracelet made of gems… Didn’t they have something similar in H&M?

Necklaces are getting bolder and brighter as well. Worn over a dress or a T-shirt, a bold necklace will glam up your whole look.  AND a bold necklace can make you look slimmer – how fabulous is that?

3. White and Black …

Go classic this Spring, pick a black’n’white dress or mix your white items with black ones. Pick a white belt, black heels and black earrings, or look for a black and white necklace to complete the look.

If you’re going out after work, refresh the look with a fabulous black hair accessory featuring lace or feathers, and black lace gloves (these are so hot right now!).   And you’ll surely break some hearts that night!

Chanel featured so many gorgeous black’n’white looks for this Spring and Summer! Well, after all this is a classic combination and classic is always in style, right?

I go weak in the knees for these fabulous Chanel shoes on the left! That feather detail is precious … But there are more fabulous shoes to come, keep scrolling!

4. The Nude Hues …

At the other end of the scale, there’s the nude hues. The catwalk went mad for these Spring-Summer 2009, and as a result – there’s a huge range of nude colours on the rails!

Are you consider trying on something in nude? Don’t be disappointed if the first flick you put on makes you look washed out. All you need is to find the perfect hue for your skin – it might be a bit more pinkish, or grayish, just keep looking and you’ll find the hue that’s just perfect for you!

PS: I found that a slight tan helps a lot when it comes to nude colors. A good self-tanner could do the trick!

5. Colorful Bags …

6. Uber Short Shorts …

Do you have killer legs?  If so, this trend is for you!  Well, the shorts girls are sporting in the pictures are a bit too short, but you get the idea – the shorter the shorts you wear this Spring-Summer, the more stylish you look!  Just make sure your bootie stays covered ))

Dsquared2  panties/shorts look so fab!  If only we could take them from the runway into the streets…  But I guess my 80 year old neighbor will have a heart attack if she sees me in one of these )

7. Cool Blazers …

My friend has made this look her trademark, by mixing her boyfriends blazers with her shorts, tops and gorgeous bright jewelry. But turns out mixing a cool blazer with a dress or a gown is also an ultra fabulous idea!

Steal her look, or make it your own by mixing and matching skinny jeans, capris or short shorts with big blazers for an ultra feminine look.

8. Sassy Mini Dresses …

If you think uber shorts are a bit too much for the street wear, you can still show off your fabulous legs in sassy mini dresses which have been a huge hit this season!

Or choose a cuter version that will show off your legs but will not over-accentuating all the curves.  I am personally in love with this black Balmain dress on the right – so cute, so chic, so sexy!

Rachel was spotted wearing this dress yesterday, when she arrived home with fiancé Hayden Christensen, after running errands.

This is quite a dress to be running errands in. Imagine going to a grocery store, leaning over to get a ripe banana, and all that fringe details getting in the way. That’s gotta be annoying. I was loving this look, until I panned down to the grey tights, and the clunky Christian Louboutin Orlan double platform T-straps booties, but at least she looks interesting, and isn’t wearing the standard Ugg boots and Juicy Couture tracksuit off-duty uniform.
