Jacobs has tapped U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama as the new face of the
brand for next season. Marc Jacobs said that Michelle Obama is just
perfect for the campaign as the first lady exudes an air of elegance
and classic sensuality. The campaign will be shot by Mert Alas and
Marcus Piggott at the grounds of the White House this coming May 2009.
