Look who looked deliciously feminine in a floral Christian Dior strapless number at the Dior fashion show in Paris.  The weave belt and white Dior sunglasses complete the dress making it look effortlessly summery.

Of course, no one…not even Jessica Alba gets it right every time. I do love that Chanel dress but paired with that red belt and the black shoes (It doesn’t matter that they are Louboutins) and that hair-do (or lack of it) make me go why Alba why?!

My verdict: I guess everyone’s allowed one faux pas.

4. Elizabeth Hurley

Elizabeth wore a gorgeous Versace gown to to Elton John’s annual White Tie and Tiara Ball with her trademark thigh high split and excessive cleavage. Is this where Blake Lively gets her inspiration from?

My verdict: I’m not saying Liz doesn’t look gorgeous but no one likes a one trick pony.

5. Natalia Vodianova

Sometimes the romantic deep inside me can’t help but fall in love with ruffles. In fact, the more the merrier! I think Natalia looks absolutely stunning in this strapless nude Valentino mini dress. The only thing I’d probably change are those shoes. They’re just a little boring, don’t you think?

My verdict: As my sister would type, “<3 <3 <3!”

6. Ashley Greene in Azzaro

I have been following Ashley Greene’s looks for a while and she almost always seems to go for something too old for her. Case in point: this full sleeved Azzaro Pre-Fall 2010 dress that she wore to the Belgium premiere of  The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. You’re 23 Ashley and you have a long way before you need to resort to matronly dresses like this. Stick to younger looks please?

My verdict: Ashley Greene and Liz Hurley should exchange dresses.

I’m so excited about watching Bryce in the newest installment of the Twilight series. Something tells me she’s going to be fabulously evil in the movie….almost as fabulous as she looks in this Christian Dior lemon gown at the premiere at L.A. And I’m not even a fan of yellow!

My verdict: Red hair+ gorgeous yellow gown= divine!

9. Marion Cotillard

Is that a bed sheet, a curtain or just one heck of a fugly dress? Actually it could serve as any of the three but at the premiere of Inception in London, Marion chose to wear it as a dress with even uglier shoes.

My verdict: Excuse me while I try to erase this from my memory forever.

10. Megan Fox

When I first saw Megan in this custom made Armani Privé red silk charmeuse cocktail mini dress at the premiere of Jonah Hex, I thought she looked spectacular! The dramatic red against the pale white of her skin creates a delicious combination that is hard not to like. But the more I stared, the more I realized that perhaps the makeup is a bit much, no?

My verdict: Go easy on the makeup hun. You are far too pretty to need all those layers of makeup. Besides, it’s going to do little to hide/change the words that end up coming out of your mouth.

11. Jared Leto

I almost did not recognize Jared in this “Back to the future” kind of look at the Dior fashion show in Paris. Although there is a certain fierceness to this trench, baggy jeans, moon boots and fauxhawk look, I really miss my old Jared with jet black hair, eyeliner and mysterious, dark  brooding eyes.

My verdict: I don’t care what the world says. I want my old Jared back!

12. Robert Pattinson

Surprise Surprise! Guess who finally managed to evoke a lustful gawk from me. None other than Rob Pattinson aka annoying Vampire Boy himself! He showered, shaved and looked absolutely delicious in this maroon Gucci suit at the L.A premiere of The Eclipse. Taylor who?

Spotted. Queen B in a gaspworthy, GORGEOUS Oscar de la Renta Vermillion Silk Organza gown while filming Gossip Girl in Paris. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a dress this divine and believe me when I say I’d kill for it. Of course, no one can do it as much justice as our darling Blair me thinks.

I decided that I just had to include this one in my post. I must say that this is not your average gloss, but it does perfect that pouty look. I like this, because it adds that moisturizer that makes my lips really kissable. It is a sheer tinted gloss, which when I applied it layer after layer, it turned into a bold pigmented lip color. It lasts for awhile and does not need much reapplying.

When I first started looking up lip gloss, I came across this and found that I really do enjoy it. This is signature gloss that comes in a neat tube. Dior Diorshow is an excellent mascara, but it does not work for everyone (for me personally it came as a challenge at first, as the wand seemed too big for my little eyelashes, but it gave amazing results once I got a hand of it).   The girls with longer lashes don’t face a problem like that, usually they fall in love with this mascara at first try. They say although the brush is huge, it makes their lashes look incredible, long, well separated, with a lot of volume and curl…  It’s true.  I’ve seen it on my eyelashes and on the eyelashes of my friends – amazing results from a top Dior mascara!

Usual Complaints:

• it smudges after a couple of hours (so it might not be recommended for those with oily skin)
• the wand is too big

Being a make-up junkie I tried it all from Maybelline for $2.99 to DiorShow for $40 (that’s what they charge for it in Moscow, can you believe it!?). But Chanel Inimitable beats them all! Just like the ad says, with the first stroke you get the lashes you’ve always wanted! But of course you will need an eye lash curler before you apply the mascara. Your lashes will be spectacular, if you always thought that you had thin and not pretty eyelashes, this is the mascara to prove you wrong, it will make them look gorgeous!  The best mascara ever!

Usual Complaints:

- if you are looking for a very dramatic look and very thick eye lashes – that’s not the right mascara for you, it gives a natural look to the eye lashes (as in the ad of Chanel Inimitable below).
- very pricey

Everytime I come across a beautiful pink bag I must write about it, and this time the beautiful pink bag is by none other but Christian Dior. The bag is called the Dior Cannage Drawstring Medium Shoulder Bag and it’s stunning. I’ve never been one into drawstring handbags but this handbag is making my heart swoon, but I’m sure it’s just because it’s made in my favorite color ever. The handbag is made with quilted lambskin leather that has a tonal cannage pattern embroidery, and features aged metal hardware all over the handbag. I would consider this a plain bag, but when I saw it in pink I was drooling. If you do not love the Dior Cannage Drawstring Medium Shoulder Bag in pink, it also comes in beige, red and white. I will admit the shape of the bag is a little bit odd, but if you love drawstring style handbags you will love this bag. The inside of the Dior Cannage Drawstring Medium Shoulder Bag is quite handy giving that it has a cell phone, pouch and zipped pocket. Very cute handbag, but I’m not sure I would wear it much.

The Dior Cannage Drawstring Medium Shoulder Bag retails for $1,450 over at eLUXURY. It is a steep price but, considering that the handbag is made by Dior which is made in Italy, I’m not too surprised. It’s an adorable handbag and comes in different colors to fit your style. If you have the extra cash to spend, I would say it definitely is a stunning handbag to add to a collection.

We have all heard of the Armani makeup line and we very well know that they offer high quality products. When I was looking for a bronzer, I knew just where to go. I went straight for Bronze Mania Skin Tint by Giorgio Armani. This is a  liquid bronzer, which to be honest with you, I prefer those liquid bronzers. There is one thing I found out about this, you have to dispense this bronzer carefully as it is very much fluid. However, this means it goes a long way. I have found it very easy to blend this bronzer by dabbing little dots here and there on my face, then blending it in by circular motions. Sure, the bronzer is a bit expensive, but it is nothing less than high quality. Wouldn’t you be willing to pay more if you knew it would make you look better?

7. Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder …

I wanted a unique bronzer that was not like any of those other ones I have tried out in the past. I wanted something that gave a health glow to the skin and that is why I purchased Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder. Boy (or girl, so to speak), was I surprised when I tried this bronzer on. I found that it is very easy to blend.  it  gave my skin that beautiful golden tan color that I wanted.

I don’t know about you, but when I get a bronzer, I want something that is well worth the money I spend. I read about this bronzer at VieCouture.com and I too found it so worth the money! This is the type of bronzer that left my skin with those small hints of sparkles, which is gorgeous. The tan color of this bronzer is out of this world and will look wonderful on medium and fair skin tones. This product is also perfect for the sun as it has sun protection ingredients in it. When you look at some of the reviews of this bronzer on the Internet, you may be mislead as there are some bad reviews. Why would you listen to bad reviews when I am telling you this is a great product? I think it is time for you to see for yourself just how wonderful this bronzer is.  Perhaps, those individuals that left bad reviews do not want you to know their secret to beautiful skin.

I wouldn’t look anywhere else, other than right here.

When I think about make up, the first thing that comes to my mind is natural. What about you? Well, when I was looking for a bronzer, I decided to look at natural bronzer, by Rimmel and I was stunned by the results I got. This bronzer has a smooth texture and the whole process of applying it is very easy. You will be able to do like I did and make your skin shine from any of those three shades that is offered. This is a perfect choice for daytime wear. However, if you have oily skin, then this may not be the best option for you because you do not need anymore shine.

Personally, I don’t really like powders and I like doing things the sophisticated way, if you know what I mean. I chose Sun Gel by Stila all because of the lightweight gel. You can apply this bronzer over foundation simply by using your fingertips. At first, it may seem a bit expensive for you, but hey, it is well worth the try. The tube it comes in may look a bit small, but don’t let this fool you as the gel is concentrated. All you will need is a small dab. Yes, I found a small dab goes a long way. If you are not like me and you do not know how to apply gel bronzers, then this may take a bit of practice on your behalf. So what are you waiting for? Get that sun kissed look right away.

2. Dior Essential Bronzing Powder by Dior …

The texture and application of Dior Essential Bronzing Powder by Dior has greatly improved. It is not like the former pressed powder for bronzing. There are four new colors that resemble the golden bronze tons I have been looking for. It’s nothing like the former peach orange colors, yuk. If I had to choose a drawback to this product, I would say it is the shine. You know, I like shine, but not too much. Each one of these shades will make your skin sparkle, but those sparkles have a tendency to flake off. But hey, it is not that big of a deal and it is still a great bronzer.

I like bronzers that have a wide array of tones available. I don’t like to only have to choose from one tone. With Terracotta Moisturizing Bronzing Powder, I was amazed that I would get to try from four tan-toned colors.  Oh, the Shade Number 2 is a bit on the coppery side. Shade number four is if you like having that low glowing shimmer. If you want to spend some money and add some shine to your body, then this is the one for you. A little bit of this bronzer will go a long way on.

Who hasn’t spent hours trying to decide what type of lipstick would make their lips most luscious, and what colours would suit them best? I know I have! So, here are my top ten rules for picking the best lipstick for you.

1. Thin lips …

Colors to Try: Peach, pale pink, light beige, clear
Colors to Avoid: Red, dark red, dark purple, any shade of brown

If you have thin lips it’s better to avoid dark and bright colors and settle for softer, natural sheer ones. Start with outlining your lips with a lip pencil that’s close to the natural color of your lips and then fill them in with light pink or light coral or beige lipgloss. A friend of mine who has thin lips often uses Lip Plumping glosses that make her lips look so much fuller.

With full lips, you have quite a few options. Try not to buy plumping glosses, and instead apply a small amount of clear gloss to the middle of your top lip for the same affect. I have naturally full lips, and find that I don’t need lip liner, and rose colours look the most amazing!

Night time is the best time to glam it up, so dig out your browns, pillarbox reds and bright pinks. I love to team red with blonde hair, but find many brown colours also look very glamorous. Experiment!

I used to get dark circles under my eyes pretty often and the best I could do to camouflage them was cover them with some loose powder.  The eyes looked better, but the dark circles were still visible.  Until the day my good friend Laura introduced me to a concealer that actually worked!

Since then I tried quite a few concealers myself and here are my 5 Top Picks that work best on covering those dark under eye circles:

1. YSL Touche Eclat Concealer …

Description: Instant highlighter. The best selling must-have take-anywhere pen-brush for adding a touch of light or banishing shadows and signs of fatigue from the eye area, the hollow of the chin, the contour of the lips and the sides of the nose.

My Opinion: I really liked this, although it is pretty expensive. It worked beautifully on my under eye circles. The product has particles that reflect the light, which makes it perfect for hiding such imperfections as the signs of fatigue under the eyes.

The pen does fit in your handbag neatly for touch ups, and the colour blends really well if you get the right shade, which should be slightly lighter than your skin tone (there are 3 shades, actually, #1 is extremely light, so it will work for very fair complexions, 2nd worked best for me – although I too have pretty pale skin and #3 will be perfect for those who are on the tan side.  Unfortunately they don’t have any shades for darker skin yet…)

This concealer works like a click top pen, so don’t worry when you will be trying it for the first time.  Just “click” on the top at least 5-7 times to get the product coming out.  Afterwards, it will be easy.  Every time you click, you’ll be getting just enough product for your entire under eye area.

I often use it on my cheekbones as well, it gives lights up the complexion.  The only downhill is that you should be really careful with how much you apply.  If you get too much product, it will gather in the fine lines under your eyes (not a very good look, trust me).  But you can avoid it by removing extra product from the creases with a swab before you leave the house.

2. Quick Cover by Chanel …

My Opinion: This easily covered my under eye circles and my blemishes, and was long lasting too, but it didn’t have that “luminous” quality about it, which I so much like about YSL Touche Eclat.  This is my 2nd favorite concealer, as it covers great, but has a somewhat mousse-like texture which I personally don’t like.  And the other thing that’s a downhill for me is that it opens like a lipgloss, which means it’s an easy place for bacteria to enter.  But the color scheme is pretty good, so you’ll surely find the right shade for you, just look for something lighter than the rest of your complexion!

3. All about Eyes Concealer by Clinique …

Description: Disguises dark undereye circles while helping to reduce the look of puffiness. Long-wearing, moisturizing formula won’t crease or settle into fine lines. Oil-free.

My Opinion: My favorite thing about this one was its moisturizing quality. Throughout the day it kept my skin in good condition, as well as hiding puffy eyes and blemishes. The applicator was easy to use and overall I was impressed, but the shades were at first hard to match, although they do have fabulous ones for dark skin tones.

But before buying It’s worth getting a few samples.  Just try different shades and see how it works for you, cause it might not be a good concealer for everybody.  While it covered my dark circles and made my skin look and feel silky smooth, it didn’t work out at all for a friend of mine, who later said it was getting into the creases and wasn’t covering her skin imperfections long enough …

4. Photogenic Skin-Illuminating Concealer SPF 15 by Lancome …

My Opinion: One of my favorites, this one also contains vitamins to help energize your skin while you wear it, and also contains sun protection SPF 15, which is absolutely genius!  It’s a little thicker than the rest, and so takes slightly longer to apply and blend, but it’s definitely worth the money. The shades are close to the lids, but it’s still worth seeing if there is a tester pot you can apply on your wrist to check that you get the best possible color for you.

5. DiorSkin Sculpt Lifting Smoothing Concealer by Dior …

Description: Conceal imperfections and impart an ultra natural radiance with this new generation concealer. Infused new generation powders work to minimize fine lines while Dior’s A-Resist complex improves the overall tone of the skin. This unique coverup recontours the face and imparts a youthful glow.

My Opinion: This is a great concealer for the dark circles.  My skin looked blemish and dark circle free the whole day, but the smell was quite strong, so try this concealer before buying if you are sensitive to perfumed makeup. Skin does appear radiant, and it has the most natural looking finish, but it’s missing the moisturizing qualities that even some cheaper concealer now offer and just like with Chanel, this particular package might be very bacteria friendly, so think twice if you have allergy prone skin or eyes.

My Comment: If you’re looking for a gloss/lipstick combination, this is it. I tried Smooth Hold in the color Oh My!, which is shimmery and beautiful brown-beige. I love the fact that it almost looks like I’ve applied a gloss over the lipstick, so it gives me that extra shiny look.

Don’t be fooled, though… Smooth Hold is not sticky like a gloss at all. It’s creamy, not drying, and lasts and lasts.

7. Semi-Matte Lipstick by NARS …

Price: $24 at NARS.com

Description: A wide range of captivating shades designed to provide the look and style the color dictates. A highly pigmented matte formula provides a full-bodied, velvety finish. It’s exceedingly longwearing, nourishing and non-drying, with Vitamin E. Once you start wearing NARS lipstick, you won’t want to wear anything else.

My Comment: Shanghai Red is the color for me. It’s a warm brick red, and it is so flattering, but the best thing about this product is the fact that this lipstick never wears off! Semi-Mattes are so long wearing that I actually removed it at night with my makeup. Like the name implies, it’s a matte finish. So, if you’re looking for rich, velvety color with little shine, Semi-Matte’s the one.

6. Double Wear Stay-in-Place Lip Duo by Estee Lauder …

My Comment: I get so excited when I can get two products in one container… makes packing a makeup bag so much easier. One end is a base coat that’s packed with pigments for luminous, long-lasting color. The other end is a gloss… you’ve got three choices – prism, pearl, and clear. My favorite is Legendary Bronze with clear gloss. The bronze side lasts for hours, and I just reapply the gloss after eating.

5. Joli Rouge by Clarins …

My Comment: If you’re looking for intense coverage that’s true to the color in the package, Joli Rouge by Clarins is it! This lipstick delivers smooth, moisturizing color that’s totally opaque. It lasts a long time and really gives an eye-popping, dramatic look, but be careful not to get it around the edges of your mouth on your skin… it can be hard to get it off!

My favorite color is Cupidon Red, which is a sexy red shade. If you’re looking for something a little calmer, I also loved the Soft Berry.

4. Color Intrigue Effects Lipstick by Elizabeth Arden …

My Comment: Color Intrigue went on smooth, delivered a bright, rich color, and lasted several hours! Also, it didn’t bleed or feather into the skin around my lips, and I love that. I chose Wine Cream, which is a brownish plum. I loved the color and thought it looked very professional… this is one you can easily wear from work all the way into a night out!

3. Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine SPF 15 by Chanel …

My Comment: This lipstick has it all… SPF 15 for sun protection, shea butter to keep your lips youthful, and Vitamin E to slow the aging process. Aqualumiere delivers a smooth color and bright shine, but I also like the fact that it’s a semi-sheer.

This means it also allowed my lips to show through a little bit. I liked that look… it looked a bit more natural. My favorite color is Antigua – a rich, creamy pinky-brown.

2. Dior Addict Lipstick by Dior …

My Comment: Who’s not a Dior Addict? If you’re not now, you will be after trying this lipstick. Dior Addict is a lightweight, smooth lipstick with good coverage, but the neatest thing to me was the multicolor effect it had when I applied it.

My favorite color is Digital Brown, which is a browny-beige undertone with bronze and red shimmer. I definitely want to revisit this color in the summer when I’ve got a little tan- I think it would look amazing with bronze skin.

My Comment: This lipstick just sounds like fun when you read the name! Kiss Kiss Lipstick is easy to apply because it goes on smooth. I thought it had a really elastic quality to it – meaning that it didn’t crack when I smiled. I love that! It also has a sparkle that catches the light when you talk or smile, and it really plumped up the look of my lips. The most flattering color on me was #545 – Beige Strauss, and it went with everything!
