I’ve always had an obsession for exotic leathers especially when they are featured on handbags. Exotic leathers can always make a handbag look more unique, as well as gorgeous. I dream of the day when I’m able to own my very on Hermes Birkin made from crocodile leather but until then I just sit admire gorgeous handbags on the computer. One exotic handbag that I’m currently in love with is the Chloé Elsie Python Satchel.

The Chloé “Elsie Python” Satchel is made entirely from Python skin, and it’s absolutely stunning. The handbag itself is pretty sophisticated and the Python skin just adds to the beauty of the bag.

I’m not sure if I would ever use this bag is I actually owned it, but it’s pretty to look at. It’s not really my style, but I can appreciate a beautiful bag that would look amazing in my collection. To me, exotic leathers make any bag look that much more appealing and that’s exactly what happened with the “Elsie” satchel. I think if this bag was in regular leather it wouldn’t look as amazing as it does with the exotic leather.

To me, this would make the perfect work bag. It’s big, classy, and the whole look of the bag screams professional. I can totally see a doctor or lawyer walking around with this bag. You don’t have to be in one of those professions to carry around this bag though.

The Chloé “Elsie Python” Satchel can be purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue for $2,895. The price is high, but when an exotic leather is featured on the bag we can expect a super high price. It’s a gorgeous bag, but I would never pay that much for it. If you have the look and style to rock this bag out with, then I suggest buying it! It may be pricey, but this bag is too beautiful to pass up!

I’ve never been one for any shade of the color orange. I personally only have one item in my closet that is orange, and it was a gift. When I came across the, “Chloé Heloise Large Tote” I realized that a beautiful bag can make any “orange-ish” like color look great.

I really think color plays out a huge part in this handbag. The color, brick, is so rich that it really blends well with the gold hardware featured on the handbag. Together the color and hardware make this handbag look stunning and unique.

Personally, I would love it if this handbag came in black. I wear a lot of black, and it’s so much easier to match a handbag with my outfit if it’s either black or has a lot of colors featured on it.

In my opinion, this handbag can be worn day or night. The color is so vibrant, that whatever you choose to wear it with, is going to be hidden by the bag. In other words, all eyes will be on the bag when you walk in a room not your outfit.

If you live in a state that has Summer-like weather all year round, this would be the perfect handbag to add to any collection.

I would absolutely love this handbag in black. Saks Fifth Avenue currently only has the large tote available in brown to be pre-ordered. The medium size does come in black though, so I’m sure that the large tote is made in black also.

What really caught my eye about this bag was the rope signature detail featured on the front of the bag. For some reason, the rope detail with the gold hardware really sticks out on the bag. I believe if those two features were missing from this bag, this would look like any ordinary tote.

To me this handbag is very versatile, which is always a “pro.” This is a handbag I would wear day or night and during any season. I do live in the heat, therefore fashion trends aren’t really followed when you are in 100 degree year round. This handbag would look perfect with: a pair of jeans, a simple stylish shirt, and some boots. I do consider it a “simple” handbag, so it deserves to be worn with a classic outfit.

The Chloé Paraty Large Tote can be pre-ordered at Saks Fifth Avenue for $1,995. I believe this price is a little too high for this handbag, but I won’t deny that this handbag is stunning.

Besides the bold hues, my absolute favorite thing has got to be the rich and smooshy leather of choice for this bag. Smooth lambskin and goat skin make up this Chloe, and you can clearly see the texture of both.
This doesn’t scream designer nor does it carry logos, just a simple Chloe tab found right up front. Although this is new for the S/S 09’ season, I would agree that this piece could be carried, year round.

I usually don’t like Chloé bags, but this is so pretty! The Chloé Lucy pleated clutch is perfect! It’s sophisticated, and can be dressed up or down. It’s perfect for a big event, or running to the store. Dress it up or down, it’s perfect!

The Chloé clutch has pleat detailing, a small clasp at the front to fasten, two compartments on the inside, a small open pouch and a blush lining. Chloe bags never fail to make a statement, whether it’s the use of unique materials or extra bulky hardware, they’re always a hit among celebrities and fashionista’s alike.

Here’s a look I would normally stay away from, reasons being, I’m not sure if I would wear this bag in the long run, or often. I’m referring to the combination of coated canvas and suede exterior. Its admirably pleasant and all, but something tells me this bag is quite delicate. Canvas handbags have never failed me as they tend to be light in weight and resistant to everyday wear, on the other hand, you must be cautious with suede leather handbags, as they stain easily and water is their worst enemy. So what type of weather would you carry this duo in?

I normally prefer extra hardware on my handbags and as we can see here, this one is rather simple. It surprises me how even with a limited amount of “bling”, this shoulder bag still weights in at 3 pounds! Measuring in at 16” x 14.5” x 9”
